San Francisco Sunset
My current project is situated in the Sunset district of San Francisco, California, working to engage a modest house clamped to the west facing hillside. I was eager to meet with the young clientele, whose taste for design was likeable. After they accepted my design proposal, I went to work on the space plan. The project scope of work was to design and addition to their existing 1-story over garage, 2 bedroom, 1 bath home. The new addition would adhere two additional bedrooms, a bath, and living area on the ground floor, 2 bedrooms, and office suite, and a bath on the second floor, and a master suite on the third level which in the end will include a masterful view of the ocean to the west. Within a year of client relations, 411 planning and building permit approvals, the project broke ground this year. Construction crew was selected, and the foundations were being poured. Structurally, the new addition required soils testing and required massive concrete reinforced piers poured until it touched bedrock since the soil was made mostly of sand. Weeks later, the stick frame structure was rising from the ground, window openings were rough framed, and topped with a roof of angles.

About Me
- Draw II Build
- San Francisco, Bay Area, United States
- Since 1990, I have been immersed in the architectural world of drawing and building. So far, I have worked on all types of projects including residential, funerary, hospitality, and commercial. I work both in pencil and through the computer. I favor modern design and experimental works that engage the public to question the world they live in. I insist on developing a new language of architecture for a younger generation to mold and reconstruct.
